Time for a new CD? Band To Hit Up the Studio In Early 2009! Shut Eye Records Buzzlighter #14 CD To Release Soon!
Nov 14, 2008

I don't know about you all, but I think it's time to release another CD right?  We're pleased to announce in early 2009 we'll pay a visit to our favorite recording studio and begin work on a new untitled album.  We already debuted some of the new songs at recent shows, but there are more unreleased songs in the works right now- we'll be sure to keep you updated.  This time around there will be fun videos and what not of us in the studio.  It will hopefully give a little insight into the recording process...and perhaps you can see why it takes so long to get things done- mostly because we screw around :-)

We are also pleased to announce that "Without You Here" will release on Shut Eye Records Buzzlighter 14 compilation album within the next month.  The CD will be circulated to college radio stations nationally.  We'll have more details with the release date soon!

Acoustic Performance @ 2008 Black Potatoe Festival 7.12.08
Jul 11, 2008

We are pleased to announce that Billy & Chris will perform an acoustic set this coming Saturday 7.12.2008 @ 3:00pm at the 2008 Black Potatoe Festival in beautiful Clinton, NJ.  This is our second consecutive year playing at the festival and we are excited to be part of the fun again!  Come and join us outside and listen to an incredible lineup of artists.  Single day tickets can be purchased through this link and start at $14.  Cheers!

About the Black Potatoe Festival:  Since 1997, Atomic Productions (Black Potatoe Records' sister company and producer of the festival) has worked to make the festival achieve its growth by presenting great talents from the world of rock, jazz, blues, and folk into the town of Clinton. Rock and Roll Hall of Famers such as Levon Helm of the Band, Dickey Betts of The Allman Brothers Band, Andy Summers of the Police, Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna, multi-platinum record selling artists like Chris Barron of The Spin Doctors, and Grammy Award nominees like Buckwheat Zydeco have enjoyed the top levels of music industry success. However, they have all agreed to perform at the Black Potatoe Music Festival because they understand the importance of an event that gives independent music a piece of the spotlight that they have enjoyed as mainstream artists.

Band Rocked For 6,500 @ Sovereign Bank Arena! "Maybe Tomorrow" Continues Success @ Garageband!
Apr 7, 2008

We would like to thank everyone who saw us play at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton this past Saturday night!  It's not everyday you get to rock for a packed house of 6,486 people through the main PA on the jumbo screen!!!  Thanks to everyone who was kind enough to say hello at the meet and greet and send us messages.  In the end the Devils scored a couple 3rd period goals and sent the place into a frenzy with a 2-1 win!  We had a great time watching the game and we wish the Trenton Devils good luck next season.  We'll be sure to upload a video of us playing within the next few weeks or so.

"Maybe Tomorrow" is now up to #36 in acoustic and has cracked the top 100 in the Pop category competing against 1,500+ songs!  It is still in the 3rd of 6 rounds and is on pace to visit the 4th round shortly.  It was recently named "Track of the Day" on March 24th.

Band To Play @ Sovereign Bank Arena! "Maybe Tomorrow" Cracks Acoustic Top 30 & Wins Back To Back "Best Male Vocal" Awards! Thanks To Elizabethtown College!
Mar 16, 2008

We are excited to announce that the band will play @ Sovereign Bank Arena (Trenton, NJ) Saturday April 5th @ 6pm for the New Jersey Devils minor league hockey team the Trenton Devils!  The Devils will face the Cincinnati Cyclones @ 7pm in their push for the playoffs.  We'll be rocking for thousands before the game and during the intermissions- hopefully on the big screen!  If you want to join us for this incredible opportunity tickets for the game are still available from this location.

We are also pleased to announce that Maybe Tomorrow pulled another step closer to Yahoo Launch! Radio by advancing to the 3rd round @ Garageband.com's review competition, and it has won back to back Best Male Vocal awards for late February and early March!  The song currently sits at #33 of 880 acoustic tracks and has now cracked the top 100 in the Pop category at number 93!  Hopefully we rock up to #1!  Garageband.com's top ranked songs have proven time and again that the internet is a powerful tool and can launch a band to major labels and the top of the Billboard charts.

Also, we wanted to thank all the students we rocked for @ Elizabethtown College's E-Thon this past Friday night.  We had a great time jamming for everyone and we were honored to be part another great charity event.  The crowd was energized, we made more friends and fans, but above all we're happy we helped this cause.  Elizabethtown College was on pace to raise thousands for the 4 Diamonds Fund which helps get families much needed care for childhood cancer.  As many of our fans already know, I lost my father to cancer a few years back and I know first hand how difficult this disease can be and how it impacts families.  We've played past THONs for my school (Penn State University) and I'm proud PSU recently raised over 6.6 million dollars for this same charity just a few weeks ago- good stuff.

Hope to catch many of you at a show soon!
