Latest Release: Live at Sherman Theater
About the Album

In February 2019, we concluded a brief regional tour in support of our single, "So I Love," at Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA. That night, we had the honor of supporting TR3 ft. Tim Reynolds, and performed the set you are about to hear.

Live at Sherman Theater features seven live, original tracks, including never-before-released songs "The Grip" and "Worms."

Press

"Lehigh Valley veterans Billy Bauer Band also took the opportunity of opening the show to play a half-hour set of what might have been the best we’ve seen them... The fiddle-infused acoustic rock also had a Dave Matthews influence (earlier this week, Bauer played a Matthews tribute show at Musikfest) was sweeter, the military-force drumming was sharper and harder and Bauer’s vocals were just as good." -John J. Moser (The Morning Call, Allentown, PA), Aug. 11, 2019

"'The Grip' is a somber, yet determined song about struggle and perseverance, and is darker in its tone than most of the band’s existing material. Meanwhile, the breezy and cheerful tone of fan favorite 'Worms' — which is slated for studio release in 2020 — is counterbalanced by its narrative about the stark realities of death." -Underground Music Collective, 'REVIEW: Billy Bauer Band - Live at Sherman Theater', Nov. 16, 2019

"Opening act Billy Bauer, a Lehigh Valley music scene mainstay, rose to the challenge of playing before a larger crowd with perhaps the best set we’ve seen from him. His Americana-folk offerings had a strong dynamic, and were musically engaging. Among the better songs was his new 'So I Love.'" -John J. Moser (The Morning Call, Allentown, PA), Sept. 19, 2018
